Kerala is the state next to Tamil Nadu, is a major tourist destination, and treated as such.  (Our friend’s son told us that it is commonly joked that the trash stops at the state line between Tamil Nadu and Kerala.)  Our first stop was Kochi, a large city on the water.  We headed out to a port area referred to as Jew Town, a part of Kochi that sells incredible antiques.  Kevin drooled over old antique doors, funky ancient keys, sculptures of men on horses, old bowls, and wheels.  This fun to visit area is known for its spice trade.
