Waterfalls on our Way to Kerala

We saw another waterfall on our way to Kerala. I forgot to get the name!  This one is a pilgrimage site, and therefore filled with people.   Vendors line the water in canopied huts piled with fresh fruits and vegetables and other foods.

A long winding concrete road brought us up to the top where men stood in the falls, washing and bathing, and generally laughing and having a good time.

I felt a pang of jealousy.  I wanted to get into that water, though in a bathing suit and not while surrounded by only a group of men.  I wished it were equal and free, that the women could be in there bathing beside the men, altogether having fun.  I stood on the rocks and watched, once again, as Kevin enjoyed the waters.

And although these falls were pretty, and a fun trip great for seeing lots of people,  they did not have the same enchanting allure for me that our recent trek through the jungle to find hidden waterfalls inspired!
